“Tabby Brown is tired of trying to fit in. She doesn’t want to go to parties – in fact, she would much rather snuggle up on the sofa with her favourite book.
It’s like she hasn’t found her people …
Then Tabby joins a club that promises to celebrate books. What could go wrong? EVERYTHING – especially when making new friends brings out an AWKWARD BUZZING feeling all over her body.
But Olivia, Cassie, Henry and Ed have something that makes Tabby come back. Maybe it’s the Austen-themed fancy-dress parties, or Ed’s fluffy cat Mrs Simpkins, or could it be Henry himself …
Can Tabby let her weird out AND live THE BEST BOOKISH LIFE POSSIBLE?“
This book is incredible! First off I feel like it needs to be acknowledged that this amazing book was written by a 19 year old!!! 19 YEARS OLD!! Lucy deserves an award for that alone. Not only that though but this book is one of favourite books of the year. I had been so excited about this book for months so as soon as it arrived I started reading it. I managed to read it within two days it was that good. I absolutely loved Tabby. She is the fiction version of me. I am a bookworm like Tabby and understand Tabby. I also have to say that past Tabby, my favourite character had to be Ed. He was just too funny for words and he is a hufflepuff like me and I loved him even more when he stuck up for Tabby. I also loved their literary road trip and now really want to go to Bath! The whole book just made me light up.
