Scar by Alice Broadway

Warning: May contain spoilers for ink and spark

“INK taught Leora that all was not what it seems on the surface. SPARK taught her that there are two sides to every story.  Now Leora has had enough of lessons – she wants to make her own story.

The explosive finale to the best-selling INK trilogy sees Leora struggling to reconcile her past and her future – and recognising that there may be no easy answers.”

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So I only found out about a week before this book was due to be released that it was being released. I obviously knew that there would be a third book this year but I had no idea when so when I found out it was about to be released I was excited. I have to say that I was not disappointed. I was obsessed with the first two books and this book had me gripped. I loved that there were still secrets to be discovered and how the divide between the inked and blanks was coming to a head. I loved that Leora could teach Mel things about the blanks and how Mel was such a powerful presence of this book. I also quite liked that it wasn’t all happily ever after by the end.
