Hi everyone! I honestly cannot believe we are in December! The year just seems to wiz by and you have no idea where it’s gone. It’s slightly depressing that we are so close to Christmas and New year but it’s pretty exciting too. If you know me well, you’ll know I’ve never done blogmas and although I think to myself I might do it this year I just never do. It’s a mixture of not being organised enough to do it and not having the ideas for it. I tried a little spur of the moment countdown thing last year but I have up a couple of days in because I hadn’t planned it very well. One thing that is probably the most vital part of daily blogging is scheduling which is something I miss out and why I don’t do blogmas.
Although I am not doing blogmas, I wanted to do something to countdown to Christmas. Again, if you have been a follower for a while you will know that I am much of a bookish blogger. Keeping this in mind, I decided I wanted to do a new segment of sorts called 12 days of bookmas! I have read nearly 40 books this year (hopefully I’ll have reached this goal by the end of the year) so I thought I would share my top twelve books as part of the 12 days of bookmas. It will essentially just be my favourite books of this year with mini versions of th e reviews I have already written for them. It might seem slightly repetitive but as I read some of my favourite reviews earlier in the year the reviews have gotten a little lost in the rest of the content so I just wanted to share them again. I will be sharing these posts from the 13th December – 24th December with my 12th favourite being on the first day and my most favourite book of this year being on Christmas eve.
I’m really excited about this so I hope you follow along! Feel free to share your own thoughts in the comments.
Thanks for reading!
