“Welcome to Camp Reset, a summer camp with a difference. A place offering a shot at “normality” for Olive, a girl on the edge, and for the new friends she never expected to make – who each have their own reasons for being there. Luckily Olive has a plan to solve all their problems. But how do you fix the world when you can’t fix yourself?”

So if you know me, you will know how much I love Holly Bourne. I mean at this point I should just write an ode to her, that is how much I love her books. So when she announced she was releasing a new young adult book I couldn’t contain my excitement. It’s safe to say that this book did not disappoint. I related to Olive in so many ways. I know what it is like to struggle with your mental health and how hard it can be when other people, mainly your parents, don’t understand what you’re going through and how you may be feeling.
I just love the way Holly writes. Her writing is so honest and raw and she deals with difficult topics so well. I fall in love with her books from the first page. I like that things aren’t wrapped up in a nice little bow at the end of the book because that’s not what real life is like. You don’t just get better when struggling with your mental health and this was shown with Olive’s journey. I honestly think everyone should read this book or any one of Holly’s YA books to be honest.
