Warning: May contain spoilers for flawed
“Celestine North is Flawed.
Ever since Judge Crevan declared her the number one threat to the public, she has been a ghost, on the run with Carrick, the only person she can trust.
But Celestine has a secret—one that could bring the entire Flawed system crumbling to the ground. A secret that has already caused countless people to go missing.
Judge Crevan is gaining the upper hand, and time is running out for Celestine. With tensions building, Celestine must make a choice: save just herself or risk her life to save all Flawed people. “
I was quite dubious about whether I would enjoy this book. When I read flawed, although I enjoyed it overall, I struggled to connect with Celestine. However, I found this book so much more interesting and gripping hense the extra star for this book. I found Celestine more interesting as she is on the run and the events that transpire as a result.
There are so many twists and turns in this book and a lot of it you don’t see coming. Celestine goes on a journey and although it could be seen as slightly cliche in parts, her strength and change in character is What draws you in to this version of her as opposed to the ‘perfect’ Celestine from the start of the first book. I also loved the background characters in this book. There are just so many good characters that play a role alongside Celestine. I would definitely recommend these two books.
