I have been wanting to read this book for a while, I actually almost read it for a book book prompt but eventually decided against it. However, having read it, I don’t understand why I waited so long. I was really drawn in by the concept of having your life inked on your skin and I just loved Leora. I was drawn in right from the beginning, particularly as secrets started coming to light but you have to keep reading to find out more.

The further you read the more Leora’s word and beliefs start to unravel and some of it you just dont see it coming. Also the way things end with Leora surprise you which I enjoyed. I also loved the friendship between Leora and Verity, especially as they have to endure so much throughout the story. I just found everything about this story intruiging, especially the way one even set a series of other events in motion. It also has a sequel and I am really excited to read it!

  1. I’m always drawn to this book when I see it in shops as the cover is so beautiful but I’ve never picked it up! Your review was great and it definitely sounds like something I’d enjoy reading so I’ll try to get it next time I see it!
