My dream Disney holiday

Hi everyone! So I won’t lie, I have been meaning to publish this post for probably two months and just haven’t gotten around to it. However here it is! I have been watching soo many Disneyland Paris/ Disney World vlogs over the last few months that I have been desperately wanting to plan my own trip but due to my current financial situation I will just have to plan a hypothetical trip. With this in mind, I thought I would write a post about my hypothetical trip. I desperately want to do both Paris and Florida so it will be a mixture of things I would love to do at both, separated in to categories rather than parks.

So one of my ultimate thing to do would be to eat at Disney! It doesn’t seem like a big thing but I feel like I would need to do this to feel immersed in the Disney experience. For breakfast/brunch I would love to do Ohana at Walt Disney World and Inventions at Disneyland Paris. They are both buffet style meals with character meets – Ohana does a breakfast buffet where you can meet Lilo and Stitch (and have Mickey waffles!) and Inventions does a brunch buffet with different themed character meets which would both be fun experiences.

Another place on my ultimate list of places to eat would be Yak and Yeti at WDW – it is Asian themed food and it looks really good. I actually saw it in a WDW vlog from Charlotte (Charlotte Ruff) and it is one of her favourite places to eat – they actually do quick service and table service so I would probably want to check out both! For dinner, my ultimate to dos would be the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue at WDW and Buffalo Bills Wild Wild West at DLP. They are both shows alongside dinner – the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is a kind of musical comedy show and the Buffalo Bills is a stunt show. I feel like they would both be really fun dining experiences. I actually watched a vlog of Carrie Hope Fletcher where she and Adam Hattan went to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and it looks so hilarious!

I have to admit I could just list all of the rides here! However, there are a few rides that I would absolutely have to do! One of my must dos at WDW would be Winnie the Pooh! I absolutely love Winnie the Pooh so it would be really special for me to get to experience this ride. I would also have to do Avatar flight of passage, expedition Everest, Frozen ever after, Jungle Cruise and test track. At DLP I would have to do Crush’s Coaster, RC Racer and ratatouille. At either park I would need to do Big Thunder Mountain, Buzz Lightyear, Peter Pan’s Flight, Pirate of the Caribbean, it’s a small world, Mad Hatters Tea Cups and Dumbo. I might even be tempted to try Tower of Terror, although I’m not sure I’m that brave!

Again, I could probably list all the characters but there are a few that I would need to make sure I met! I would obviously need to meet all of the princesses but I would absolutely love to meet Moana and Rapunzel and Flynn. I would also need to meet Mickey and Minnie, particularly at WDW, as they have a variation of different outfits. I would also love to meet chip and dale as they seem like so much fun. I would also need to meet baymax, Russel, Winnie the Pooh, Olaf and Joy and Sadness at WDW. I would also love to meet Alice and the Mad Hatter.

In terms of shows, I feel like the castle shows are an absolute must. At WDW it is Happily Ever After and at DLP it is Illuminations. They are such a special part of being in the parks and I would need to see them both repeatedly. I would also need to see all of the parades at both parks. I would also need to see all the firework shows at the other parks at WDW. In terms of specific shows, I would love to see Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo the musical at WDW and Disney on broadway. I know it’s not a show per say but I would love to do Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and see the Hocus Pocus show and halloween parade at WDW. I would also love to see Mickey and the magician at DLP. I would also love to see Frozen Sing Along at either park (although it looks super fun at DLP).

There you have it, things I would want to do if I was to go to DLP or WDW. What would be on your must do’s on a Disney holiday? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Ah I love this post! I’ve got one scheduled about my favourite Disney attractions and a fair few you’ve mentioned are on it! Crush’s Coaster is like, the most FUN RIDE ever! But my two favorite’s at DLP (I haven’t been to any other Disney park) have to be Big Thunder Mountain and Peter Pan’s Flight.I haven’t been on Tower of Terror – I’m too much of a wuss for that one! xx
