Dream a little dream by Giovanna Fletcher

“Sarah is doing just fine. Sure she’s been single for the last five years, and has to spend an uncomfortable amount of time around her ex-boyfriend, his perfect new girlfriend and all their mutual friends. And yes, her job as a PA to one of the most disgusting men in London is mind-numbingly tedious and her career is a constant disappointment to her mother. But it’s really okay. She’s happy (ish).

But it’s not surprising that when Sarah starts dreaming about a handsome stranger, she begins to look forward to falling asleep every night. Reality isn’t nearly as exciting. That is until her dream-stranger makes an unexpected real-life appearance, leaving Sarah questioning everything she thought she wanted.

Because no one ever really finds the person of their dreams… do they?”

Oh. My. God. I fell in love with this book. I fell in love with Giovanna when I picked up Billy and Me and have been hooked ever since. Even though this was the third book Giovanna wrote, it is actually the fourth book I have read of hers. After picking up Billy and Me, I went to her book signing for her most recent book some kind of wonderful which I got signed. I actually got this one along with Always with love, the sequel to Billy and Me for Christmas so I was so excited to read it. The amazing thing about Giovanna’s books is that you tend to think they are solely based around a romance when they really aren’t and it’s a pleasant surprise. Although, like all of her books, it had an element of romance, it was also based around other relationships which I just loved.

There were a few things that you didn’t expect and it was a bit heartbreaking in places. I found myself feeling sad for the characters as well as laughing along with them. I honestly can’t praise this book enough if I am being honest. There was just so much to love about it. I loved this one because of the main character Sarah and her wacky dreams and just everything about her makes you fall in love with her. I know there is a short novel for this book so I am tempted to read it even though it is only on kindle. I just hope there is more to her story some day!
