Always with Love by Giovanna Fletcher

“Sophie’s got used to being the girlfriend of Billy Buskin, the biggest movie star in the world. Sort of. But when she and Billy take a trip to visit his family in Los Angeles, she quickly discovers she’s totally unprepared for the chaos of Hollywood, the paparazzi and Billy’s controlling mother.

And when Billy extends his stay in LA, leaving Sophie to fly home to Rosefont Hill alone, it seems there’s more than just miles between them. Now Sophie must decide if they can overcome their differences for good. Because not every love story lasts the distance . . .”

Rating: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

This book was actually a sequel to Billy and Me which I read mid last year but never actually got around to writing a review for it. This is actually the third book I’ve read by Giovanna and I am never disappointed! I always get so lost in her books and her characters. Sophie is certainly my favourite of Giovanna’s characters though and these books are one of my favourites. The one thing I love about Giovanna’s books is that even though they are based around a romance, there is always a focus on other relationships, which is particularly true for these books.

I love this book because its just such an easy read. These are the kind of books that I love for the escapism, they just transport you somewhere else and in this case it’s rosefont hill. I love the idea of living in a small village running a tea shop, it’s just so romantic. I also love Sophie’s relationship with her mum in particular. I honestly couldn’t recommend these books enough, especially if romance is your thing.

Have you read always with love? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.

Thanks for reading!
