Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Oh. My. God. I loved this book! I love Giovanna, I read her very first book over the summer so I was really excited for her to release this one. Funny story, I actually met Giovanna in Leeds at one of her events for her book tour! I got the book signed and got a picture with her so it made getting this book extra special! I was a bit unsure if the plot would come across as a bit too cheesy but it definitely exceeded my expectations. Everything about it was so fun and made me fall in love with Lizzy.

I feel like the best part of Giovanna’s books, particularly this one, is that although they have a romantic element to them, often the story is more about friendship which makes her characters even more lovable. I particularly love that there is always an element of surprise where the story is going and it isn’t as cliche as you may expect it to be, which rings particularly true for this book. The message that runs through this book is that everyone you meet throughout your life shapes you in some way which is so true but I didn’t think about it until reading this book. I honestly don’t think I could recommend this book enough!
