My April favourites

Hi everyone! I cannot believe we are at the end of April already!! I have no idea where the time is going. I’ve finished my degree which is scary and only have a couple of months till I graduate!! So with another month gone comes another monthly favourites and I have some good things to share this month.

Moana – Oh. My. God. This film was amazing! I had been wanting to see it for a while and I finally made my boyfriend watch it with me and even he loved it, which is the best possible praise if he likes a Disney film. I just loved everything about it, especially the soundtrack. Then when I learnt that Lin Manuel Miranda wrote a lot of the soundtrack and even sang one of the songs I fell in love with the film even more. Sorry not sorry to the fans of la la land, how far I’ll go should have won the oscar for best song over city of stars. I honestly can’t recommend this film enough, especially if you love Disney.

Beauty and the beast – So I have been dying to see this and waited ages, then I finally got to see it this month and I’m glad I finally got to see it whilst it was still at the cinema. There are some films that I just have to see at the cinema and this was one of them. I honestly couldn’t love it any more than I do! It’s the best mix of the original tale that we all know and love and an original twist so that we didn’t feel like we had seen it before, which made us all fall in love with it. They couldn’t have cast better actors and it still had that Disney magic especially with the ballroom scene. Emma Thompson’s version of beauty and the beast even sent shivers down my spine and I didn’t think I would love it as much as the original but I really did. I almost cried at points in the film as it just had so many emotions wrapped up in it.

Blogging – OK so I know I recently said I haven’t been able to blog as much this month but hear me out. Although my own blog was on the back burner this month and there has been a little bit of dramaa, I actually feel like I’ve been pretty engaged with the community. I’ve definitely been feeling the love this month and been giving it back. I know I do my fair share of moaning about the community but I do love it most of the time and there are so many bloggers that I love.

That’s my favourites for this month. What have you been loving this month? Feel free to share them in the comments.

Thanks for reading!
