2017 will be my year

Hi everyone! So I know I’ve written a post about my goals for 2017 and a post for the new year but I was quite inspired to write this post. I was actually going to write a post about my f**k budget but I want to read the book before I do it and I had read a few of these kinds of posts so I thought this would be more appropriate for the time being.

2017 is going to be my year. I am actually excited to face this year head on. There are so many things I want to do this year and I don’t want to let anything stop me from at least trying to achieve these things. I want to be able to say I really lived in 2017 and not just gone through the motions like I felt last year particularly towards the end of it.

I want to get out more. I want to go on more trips, whether that’s going somewhere new for the day or somewhere for the weekend. I want to create memories that I can look back at in years to come. I want to capture these memories with my new instax mini.

I want to be more creative. I want to write more than just blog posts. I love writing fiction and I want to dedicate time to this. I even might give NaNoWriMo a go this year. I also want to do more reading because I definitely lacked that last year and it is one of my favourite past times and I have so many books on my reading list. I also want this creativity to show through my blog. I want to share more content that is true to me and that comes freely rather than forced and preplanned all the time.

I also want to stop comparing myself to other people in the blogging community. I just want to be proud of what I have created whether it’s read by 1 person or 100 people. I am working hard to get where I want to be, not where other people are at. I need to use my own success as a benchmark and not other people’s.

I just want to be able to make the most out of this year and the opportunities I have. Is there anything you are wanting to do this year? Feel free to share them in the comments.

Thanks for reading!

Abbie. X
